Educational Counseling for Teachers and Parents

Teachers:

Nobody ever said that teaching is easy. If they have, they were not being truthful. There are countless statistics all over the internet that are proof of this. Each year, many teachers choose to leave education because they feel overwhelmed, underappreciated, and alone. I understand these struggles (and numerous others) that teachers face daily.  I am here to help you work your way through the “jungle” of teaching. You are not alone, and you can be successful without sacrificing your sanity.

Women’s Issues:

Why were we not informed that our bodies and minds would betray us?  You can remember the lyrics to Salt-N-Peppa’s “Shoop” and Barenaked Ladies’ “One Week”, but you have no idea why you just walked into the kitchen.  When having a conversation, you regularly stop so your brain can buffer and find the right word.  You probably have multiple alarms set on your phone just to get through the day.  If any of this sounds familiar, you probably have hit your 40s.  You can survive this, and I can help!

Empty Nesters

Your children have flown the coop, leaving you and your spouse to figure out life without the daily chaos of kid activities. The house is quieter, and your confused pet isn’t the only one adjusting to the change. Suddenly, it’s just the two of you, staring at each other like, “What now?” This transition can be tricky, but together we can turn this new phase into an exciting adventure.

Teens:

High school can be a wild ride—keeping up with friends, classes, and finding out who you really are. You’re out here trying to keep your riz strong while avoiding delulu moments. It’s a lot, no cap. But you don’t have to go through it solo. I get the ups and downs of teenage life, and I’m here to help you navigate it. Together, we’ll make sure your journey is bussin’ and that you ATE every challenge that comes your way.

Parents of Teens:

Raising teenagers can sometimes feel like you’re trying to tame a tornado with a laundry basket. You’re balancing guidance with giving them space, all while trying to decode their latest slang and ever-changing moods. It’s a challenge, but you’re not alone. I’ve (barely) survived the teenage years, and I’m here to help you find humor and harmony in this fleeting phase in life.
